Oaxaca ranks third in Mexico’s poverty index, limiting access to sufficient and healthy food for many families. In response to this issue, the Foundation established a Community Kitchen in 2021 in the city of Oaxaca, aiming to ensure proper nutrition for the most vulnerable populations.
Today, this kitchen serves more than 240 people every day, offering a balanced and nutritious menu that includes soup, a main dish, dessert, and fresh fruit water. In addition, the Foundation supports local artisans and producers by purchasing their products, strengthening the regional economy and promoting the sustainability of the artisan community.
